Public invited to soar above the magnificent Ottawa River at Zibi in Summer 2020!
Adventurous residents and visitors to Canada’s capital will soon have the unique experience of launching themselves across the Ottawa River from one province to another, when Interzip Rogers, the world’s first interprovincial zip line, opens in Summer 2020.
This unmatched adventure will start and finish at Zibi, a 34-acre borderless master-planned waterfront community conceived by Dream Unlimited Corp and Theia Partners, which straddles Ontario and Quebec in the heart of the National Capital Region’s Confederation Boulevard. The close to 1,400 foot-long zip line will soar 120 feet above the Ottawa River offering riders unparalleled 360 degree views of downtown Gatineau, the iconic Chaudière Falls and the Parliament buildings.
This exciting addition to the capital’s skyline is sure to become one of the region’s top tourism destinations when it opens next year. More than 30,000 people are expected to cross the parallel zip lines on an annual basis, offering a positive economic impact for both cities.

Skyline Zip lines LTD, a world leader in the building and operation of zip lines, has been retained to build Interzip Rogers. Skyline’s technology, found in 22 countries around the world, has set industry standards in maximizing the safety of participants. Work on the zip line started this summer and is anticipated to conclude in the spring of 2020.
Interzip Rogers was officially announced at a news conference earlier today by Orkestra, the local advertising firm behind the project. Interzip Rogers is funded by Rogers, its title sponsor, the City of Ottawa, la Ville de Gatineau, Ottawa Tourism, and the Quebec Ministry of Tourism, in collaboration with Tourisme Outaouais, through the Agreement on Regional Tourism Partnerships.
